Installation Instructions for ShowerSeal Ultra 10

  1. Clear away any old sealant from shower tray with a knife or scraper and
carefully measure internals of tray as per diagram opposite. Use Meths
(Methylated Spirit – Blue Liquid) to clean the tray / tiles. Use the wipes to clean
the ShowerSeal profile once they are cut to size. DO NOT USE WHITE SPIRIT
  2. Transfer the trays 2 internal measurements to ShowerSeal profiles taking
care to decide which end of the “Non Profiled” piece will be cut off.
  3. Cut L2 first and fit at back of shower tray (non -profiled piece) cut the other
profiles L1 to length and place it inside the shower tray to check they fit OK.
Note. L1 will fit over L2 at the corner if measured correctly.
  4. Remove the profiles and take the Forever White sealant with the large
nozzle and infill the edges of the tray with sealant. It is important that
enough sealant is used to completely fill the gaps between the tray and wall.
  5. Apply sealant to each end of the profiles before fitment. This
will ensure no water can sit in the corners of the tray.
  6. Place the profiles one by one into the wet sealant.
  7. Gently push the profile into place onto your shower tray.
  8. Immediately wipe away with the Fugi tool’s 90 degree edge, any excess
sealant that has squeezed out from above or below the profile
  9. Change the coarse sealant nozzle to the fine nozzle and infill carefully
the top and bottom edges and corners of the newly installed profile.
  10. Once complete, remove any excess sealant with the
small radius on the Fugi tool. This ensures a complete
seal, so there is no where for the water to sit on the profile.
Put a towel in the tray then “Pre-Stress” the tray by putting a heavy
tool box or similar onto the towel / tray and leave to set overnight if possible.

Leave for a minimum of 4 hours and ShowerSeal HalfSeal is ready for use.
